Beck Mack + Oliver Partners Fund (BMPEX)

The BM+O Partners Fund is a mutual fund whose principal objective is long-term capital appreciation consistent with the preservation of capital. The Partners Fund invests primarily in common stocks and seeks to maintain a reasonably concentrated investment portfolio. We engage in intensive fundamental research in order to identify high-quality businesses and exercise valuation discipline in the construction of the portfolio.

The Partners Fund was originally established in April 1991 as a commingled fund and converted into a mutual fund in December 2009. The Partners Fund is a series of the Forum Funds Trust, an open-end management investment company registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Beck Mack + Oliver is the investment adviser to the Partners Fund.

Richard Fitzgerald

Richard Fitzgerald has been a Portfolio Manager of Beck Mack + Oliver since 2016 and became a Member in 2018. Mr. Fitzgerald has over 16 years of investment management experience. Prior to his association with BM+O, Mr. Fitzgerald worked at Twin Capital Management from 2012 to 2015, Jefferies Investment Advisers from 2011 to 2012, and Castle Point Capital Management from 2008 to 2010. In addition, he has private equity and investment banking experience. Mr. Fitzgerald received a B.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 2004.

John Ellis

John Ellis became a Partner of Beck Mack + Oliver in 2013. Before joining as a Portfolio Manager in 2010, Mr. Ellis was a senior analyst at Castle Point Capital Management  (2008- 2010), an analyst at Coliseum Capital Management (2006-2008), an analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. (2005-2006), and an auditor at Ernst & Young (2004-2005). Mr. Ellis received this B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 and a M.A. from the Keenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004.  Mr. Ellis holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
